We Believe

• There is one God existing eternally as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is perfect in holiness, power, justice, wisdom and love. He is the Creator, Saviour and Judge.
  
  

• The Bible, as originally given, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the ultimate authority on all matters of belief and practice.​
  
  

• Men and women were created to know, love and enjoy God forever, but since the fall our sin and guilt has separated us from God and set us against Him. Therefore we are all subject to His just wrath and condemnation.​
  
  

• The Lord Jesus Christ is God the Son, both fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place bearing God's punishment for our sin, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is exalted as the eternal Lord of all.​
  
  

• Salvation is found only in what the Lord Jesus Christ has accomplished for us on the cross. It cannot be earned but is a gift of God's grace. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between mankind and God. All who put their trust in Him have their sins forgiven, are credited with His righteousness and are adopted into God's eternal family.​
  
  

• It is the Holy Spirt who convicts us of our sin and enables us to turn from it to faith in Jesus Christ. He indwells all believers to bring assurance of salvation, speak to us through the Bible, grow the fruit of Christ's character in our lives and empower us to worship, serve and follow Christ.​
  
  

• The universal Church is the body of all true believers with Christ as the head.​
  
  

• Believers are called by Christ to be baptised as an outward sign of new life in Him, and to share in the Breaking of Bread which is a regular remembrance of His once and for all sacrifice for sin on the cross.​
  
  

• The Lord Jesus Christ will return in person and in glory to judge the living and the dead. Those who have not been saved will fall under God's just and eternal punishment. The Church will enter His eternal glory.
